Apr. 4-6, 2025 Back to the Garden: Healing the Feminine Heart through Jesus, the Bridegroom
with Sarina Stokes and Fr. Cole Kennett

Online 3-Day weekend for Young Adult Women starts Friday at 7:00pm ends Sunday with 11:00am Mass.

Back to the Garden

You were made for Heaven. You were made for Jesus. You were made to walk in the garden of your heart with Him. All young adult women, open to all vocations, are invited to encounter the masculine Heart of Jesus Christ, The Bridegroom, and the restoration He has in store for your feminine identity.

During the course of the weekend, women will be invited into the journey of their hearts.

Pulling from the wisdom of St. Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, the poetic love story of the Song of Songs, and personal testimony; women will come to encounter the beauty within themselves and the truth of who they are and Whose they are, Jesus Christ’s.

Check-in at 6:00pm, with retreat starting at 7:00pm on Friday, April 19 and concludes on Sunday at 2:00pm. Bring your beautiful Sunday best for women’s brunch as we top off the retreat celebrating the Wedding Feast of the Lamb!

Father Cole Kennett was ordained a priest on May 27, 2017 at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln Nebraska. He is the pastor of St. Michael parish in Lincoln.  Previously he was pastor in Colon and Cedar Bluffs and taught at Bishop Neumann in Wahoo.

Passionate about the restoration and integration of the whole person through the healing power of Jesus Christ, Father Kennett draws inspiration from the scriptural promise found in Revelation 21:5 “Behold, I make all things new.” Father Kennett emphasizes the transformative nature of Christ’s love, seeking to reclaim all that was lost in the Garden of Eden through disobedience. His ministry centers around helping others discover Christ as the New Adam and Bridegroom.

Having encountered the Father’s intense love himself he strives to help others know this love so that they might find their place in the Father’s Kingdom on the other side of eternity.

Sarina Stokes was the Outreach and Ministry Coordinator at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House and is graduate of the University of Mary’s Applied Catholic Theology program. She was born in Gilbert, AZ and graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2015. Following graduation, she served with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) for 2 years at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

After radically being made new in the merciful love of Jesus Christ, Sarina has “found Him whom her soul loves.” On November 1, 2022 she made a private vow of chastity to Jesus Christ; binding the entirety of her heart, mind, body, and soul to Him. Sarina loves to journey into people’s hearts to help them encounter the deep mercy of Jesus Christ and the great joy that comes with knowing Him. Continuously walking through her own story of redemption, restoration and renewal; Sarina believes that nothing is too hopeless, too broken or too lost that Jesus Christ cannot make new and bring freedom.
