Through His Words: A Parish Scriptural Prayer Retreat

Saturday Sept 13, 8am-3pm (8am Parish Mass) includes breakfast, lunch; free-will donation to the Retreat House.

Fr. Gary Coulter, director of Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly will share from his experience in directing Ignatian Retreats, on how to hear God’s voice in Sacred Scripture. On this silent day of reflection you can learn how to do an Ignatian Prayer period and will have quiet time to meditate on scripture passages.

You’re invited to take a day for silence and prayer, a day we spent with Jesus in the gospels, a day of recollection and reflection, listening to Him in the silence of our hearts and in his words in scripture. A day to abide and rest in the Lord, allowing Him to speak by giving Him our attention.
